Homestay in north-west Argentina

A wonderful chance to get in touch with the indigenous culture of the North-west of Argentina.

A group of families in the province of Salta have opened their houses for you. They are all farmers and make a living of (small scale) agriculture or animal breeding. You will participate in their daily activities, and they will show and teach you their way of living and working. Many make typical handicraft of the region and home-made products.

You will eat, sleep and spend the day with the families. At night you have your own private bedroom.

The recommended program lasts 3 days with 2 nights.

The city nearby is Cafayate in Salta so ideally a home-stay with the families is combined in a round trip or self-drive through the province  of Salta.
