Peninsula Valdes is an important natural reserve on the coast of northern Patagonia which was listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. This unique place in the world is of global significance for the conservation of marine mammals. It is home to an important breeding population of the endangered southern right whale as well as important breeding populations of southern elephant seals and southern sea lions. The orcas in this area have developed a unique hunting strategy to adapt to local coastal conditions.<\/p>\n
The green lake area around the city of Bariloche are known for\u00a0its numerous amount of mountains, valleys, steppe, fertile farm land, forests, rivers and lakes. Beautiful views of lakes and small villages which look like typical Alpine villages attract many visitors to this region. Almost the entire region is a national park and numerous of activities can be undertaken to enjoy the nature.<\/p>\n
